All processing happens in your browser. No files are uploaded to any server. How to verify

Scanned a document upside down? Got a PDF that's sideways because someone rotated their phone wrong? You just need to rotate it. But uploading a sensitive document to an online rotator is exposure you don't need.

Pulsyr's PDF rotator rotates your pages entirely in your browser using pdf-lib. Your file stays on your device the whole time.

Why this is actually private

  • Rotation is a metadata change applied by pdf-lib in your browser — no upload.
  • The original file stays in your memory only; the rotated version goes straight to your downloads folder.
  • Works offline after the page loads.
  • Verify with DevTools → Network tab: zero requests during rotation.
Verify it yourself. Open your browser's DevTools (Cmd+Option+I on Mac, F12 on Windows), go to the Network tab, then use the tool above. You'll see zero network requests during the conversion. Most online tools can't make this claim because they upload your file to do the work.

How to use

  1. 1Drop your PDF into the upload area.
  2. 2Pick the rotation angle: 90°, 180°, or 270°.
  3. 3Click Rotate. The rotated PDF is generated locally.
  4. 4Download the rotated file.

Prepare documents for printing

Rotate pages to portrait or landscape before sending to a printer.

Privacy-sensitive scans

Rotate ID scans, contracts, and medical records without exposing them to a server.

Frequently asked questions

Does rotation change the actual content of the PDF?

Rotation only updates the page's rotation metadata. The underlying content is unchanged — every PDF viewer will display the page rotated, but the text and images are preserved exactly.

Can I rotate only specific pages?

This tool rotates all pages at once. If you need to rotate specific pages, split the PDF first, rotate the pages you want, and merge them back using the Merge PDF tool.

Is my PDF uploaded during rotation?

No. Everything runs in your browser via pdf-lib. You can verify with DevTools → Network tab.
